How we work

Four steps, at your pace.

  1. A private conversation

We listen: the houses, the family, the seasons and what is not working.

  2. A visit to the house

Two days in the house, with you or your house manager, to see how it really runs.

  3. The House Book

We write down how the house should run and agree it with you, room by room.

  4. The house, kept

We run it ourselves, train your team to run it, or both.

Discretion is not a policy. It is the job.

We never name the families we work for, in public or in private. Everyone on our side signs a confidentiality agreement before entering a house.

References are shared privately, on request, with the consent of the families who give them.

Questions families ask

Do you live in the house?

It depends on the house. We work as resident managers, as visiting managers on set days each week, or for the season. We agree the arrangement after the visit.

Can you work with the staff we already have?

Yes, and we usually prefer to. Most houses need clearer routines and training more than new people. The House Book gives everyone the same reference.

How do you find and place staff?

We define the role with you and take part in interviews and trial days. Where the law requires an authorised agency, the search itself is run by our licensed partners, and we stay with you until the person has settled in.

How are fees set?

Every house is different, so we quote after the first conversation and the visit. Consulting is a fixed fee per project, management a monthly fee, and seasonal work a fixed package.

Will you sign a confidentiality agreement?

Always, before we enter the house. Ours or yours.

Tell us about the house.
