Private office for families with more than one home

The calendar of a family that lives in more than one place, kept in one hand.

One year, three houses, one calendar

A family that lives in more than one place moves with the seasons. An example year: follow it, or point at a month, to see what the office prepares before each move.

A year on three lines, one for each house, with the family's moves between them and the events at home JAN FEB MAR APR MAY JUN JUL AUG SEP OCT NOV DEC

An official visit: the arrival, the rooms, the staff briefing, cars and gifts, the report afterwards.

Point at a month, or let the year run.

Where most houses start

  • The calendar lives in three phones and two assistants' heads.
  • An important guest is coming, and the house finds out two days before.
  • Each house has its own suppliers, and none of them talk to each other.

What we do

We keep the calendar of a family that lives in more than one place: travel and arrivals between houses, events at home, and trusted suppliers for each residence.

When an important guest is expected, we prepare the visit with you and your team: the arrival, the rooms, the staff briefing, forms of address, cars and gifts, and a short report afterwards.

What is included

  • Travel and arrivals between residences
  • Events at home, from dinners to celebrations
  • Trusted suppliers for every house
  • Quiet coordination with your family office

How it works

How we work, in detail
  1. The calendar

Residences, seasons, travel and the events already planned for the year.

  2. The suppliers

Drivers, florists, caterers and technicians for each house, chosen and briefed.

  3. The visits

Each arrival and each event prepared on paper first, then in the house.

  4. Afterwards

What worked and what the guests liked, written down for next time.

It is for you if

  • You live between several houses and countries during the year.
  • You receive guests who call for protocol: office-holders, diplomats, clergy, business partners.
  • You host dinners and celebrations at home and want them to run quietly.
  • You work with a family office and want the houses coordinated with it.

It is not for you if

  • You need an assistant for business travel: a corporate travel desk will do it better.
  • You are planning a large event in a hotel or a venue: an event planner is the right partner.
  • You want restaurant and ticket bookings on demand: that is a different kind of service.

Questions families ask

Do you work alongside our family office?

Yes. We look after the houses and the life in them; the family office keeps the finances and the legal side. We agree with them in writing who does what.

Can you prepare the visit of an important guest?

Yes: the arrival minute by minute, the room, the staff briefing, forms of address, precedence at table, cars and gifts, coordinated with the guest's own team and security. The Protocol Book describes the method.

Do you organise events at home?

Dinners, celebrations and receptions at home, with the house's own staff and trusted suppliers. For large events in a venue, we work alongside an event planner.

How do we stay informed?

One shared calendar for the year, and one person to call. Every change is confirmed in writing.

How is the fee set?

Private office is a monthly fee, or a fixed fee for a single visit or event, quoted after the first conversation.
